An ordinance levying special assessments against the proper,-
ty herein -described to pay the cost of constructing
certain sidewalks in the city of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of
Salina:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied and
assessed "against each of the lots and parts of lots herein-
after described a special tax or assessment :for the purpose
of paying the cost of constructing certain sidewalks abutt-.
ing said property, by the City of Salina, Kansas, between
the 15th day of August, 1918 and the 15th day of August,
1919, in the various amounts set opposite the following de-
scribed lots and parts of lots, to -wit:

Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed and author-
ized to immediately certify the assessments made in Section 1
hereof to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, to be
peed on the tax roll for collection,
subject to the same penal-
ties and collected in like manner as other taxes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the Salina
Evening Journal.

sidewalks in the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
