2259 Oil Station32 ORDINANCE NO. 2259 (Published in the Salina Evening Journal May 1919) An ordinance granting to The Standard Oil Company (Indiana) a special permit to build an oil'sta.tion at the corner of i?inth Street and Crawford Avenue. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Counti lmen of the City of Salina: Section 1. A special permit is hereby granted to The Standard Oil Company, a corporation orgainized and doing busin- ness under^ and by virtue of the laws of the State of Indiana, to build an oil station at the corner of Ninth Street and Craw- ford "venue, in the city of Salina, Kansas, on the etLst side of Ninth Street and the north side of Crawford Avenue. Said Standard Oil Company shall secure from the Fire Chief a per- mit to build such oil station under the regular rules for ob taining such permits. Sec. 2.
