ORDINANCE

An Ordinance relating to the salaries and compensation of
officers and employees of the City of Salina, Kansas,
and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and, Council of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the salaries or compensation of the
various officers and employees of the City of Salina, Kansas,
from and after the 15th day of May, 1919, shall be as follows
and payable semi-monthly:
erection 2. The City Clerk shall receive the sum of One
Hundred Five (y'$�105.00) Dollars per month which shall be in
full compensation for all services.
Section 3. The City attorney shall receive the sum of
One Hundred Twenty -Five ($125.00) Dollars per month which shall
be in full compensation for all services.
Section 4. The Police JudZe, shall receive the sum of
Seventy -Five ($75.00) Dollars per month, which shall be in full
compensation for all services.
Section 5. The -Cit: Treasurer, shall receive the sum
of Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) Dollars per year, which shall
be in full compensation for all services.
Section 6. The Stenographer for the City Clerk shall re-
ceive the sum of Eighty ($80.00) Dollars per month which shall
be in full compensation for all services.
Section 7. The G„ty Marshal shall receive the sum of
One Hundred Five {105.00} Dollars per month which shall be in
full compensation for all services.
The Assistant marshal, shall receive the
sum of Ninety -Five ($95.00) Dollars per month, and each regu-
lar policeman and traffic officer shall receive the sum of Nine-
ty (,,90.00) Dollars per month..
110torcycle Policeman shall receive the sum
of One Hundred (yp100.00) Dollars per month which shall be in
full compensation for their services and they shall furnish their
own motorcycle, keep the same in repair and provide oil and gas
at their own expense.

Section.8. The Fire Chief,shall receive the stun of One
Hundred Five ($105.00) Dollars per month which shall be in
full compensation for his services.
The Assistant Fire Chief shall receive
Ninety -Five 0;,95.00) Dollars per month;
Firemen of the first class shall receive
the sum of Ninety ($90.00) Dollars per month, and fireman of
the second class shall receive the sum of Eighty ($80.00)
Dollars per month.
Machinists, shall receive the sum of
One Hundred ,(,100.00) Dollars per month.
Section 9. The Park Commissioner,s�lall receive the sum
of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars per month which shall be
in full compensation for his services .
Section 10.. The Custodian of the City Hall shall re-
ceive the sum of Seventy ($70.00) Dollars per month, which
shall be in full compensation for his services.
-Section 11. The Street Commissioner,shall receive the
sum of One Hundred Five ($105.00) -Dollars per month which shall
be in full compensation of his services.
Foreman for Street Work -,shall receive the
sum of Three ($3.00) Dollars per day;
Workrnan with team shall receive the sum
of Five and 50100 (55.50) Dollars per day;
Laborers on the streets,shall receive
the sum of Three ($3.00) Dollars per day, except laborers
cleaning streets with broom, shovel anal cart, who shall re-
ceive the sum of Two and 75100 ($2.75) Dollars per day.
Section 12. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 13 This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its publication once in the offi-
cial City paper.
