2255 Repairing Sidewalks31- GRDII�IA ICE 140. 2255 (Published in The Salina Evening Journal flay 1919) An ordinance providing for repairing of certain sidewalks in the City of Salina, Kansas. BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina Section 1. That the owner or owners of the follo4iiing de- scribed lots and tracts of land in the City of Salina, Kansas; be and they are hereby required to repair or cause to be repaired on or before the 15th day of June, 1919, the sidewalk now con- structed in front of and adjacent to such lots hereinafter de- scribed as follows, to„wit : Lots 14-15-16-17, Plat "C” South side of Lot 11, Block 3, Morrison's Addition. South side of Lot 5, Block 3, xeplat Beebe's Second Addition. Lots 6 and 7, Block 3, Keplat .Beebe's Second Addition. Section 2. All of the above mentioned walk shall be re- paired in a good and workmanlike manner so as to make a smooth, even . surface and shall be repaired of the materials with which the walk is now constructed. Section 3. The Committee of sidewalks of the City Council shall& s soon as practicable after the 15th day of June, 1919, cause any sidewalk herein mentioned to be repaired as herein pro- vided if the owner or owners of the property liable for such re- pair shall fail, neglect or refuse to so repair any such walk and the said committee shall report their proceedings together with the length and dimensions of the walk so repaired by said committee together with the nature of the repairs made and the actual expense thereof, to the City Council. Section 4. The expense of the repairs of said walk in the event said committee shall be required to cause them to be re- paired shall be assessed against the real estate abutting there- on according to the front foot thereof, and collected the same as other taxes against said real estate.
