for a sub-compact ear.
The City Clerk received and opened bids for these phase I vehicle and
equipment items on the dates indicated. Staff has reviewed the bids and
recommends the following awards:

to accept the mini-van bid for $17969.70 from JJ Chevrolet. A copy of the

We would recommend that the bid for the new vehicle be
accepted. We believe it to be the better choice over the used
vehicle for the following reasons:
1. It appears that we would receive one year of additional use of
the new vehicle for the price of $1113.00.
2. The warranty would be one year longer on the drive train.
3. The projected delivery date is 30 to 40 days sooner which saves
paying n~lage fees in the interim.
