EXTENSION OF CURRENT CONTRACT AGREEMENT
This Extension of Current Contract Agreement made and entered into this 16th day o(December, 1996
by/and between the CITY OF SALINA, a municipal corporation, First Party, hereinafter referred to as
the "OWNER" and PHILIP ENVIRONMENTAL formerly Burlington Environmental, Second Party,
hereinafter referred to as the "CONTRACTOR".
WHEREAS, the Owner and the Contractor entered into a certain contract agreement dated December 12,
1994 effective January 1, 1995 for one year (the "Contract Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the parties hereto now mutually desire to extend the Contract Agreement for an additional
term of One (1) year or until December 3 1, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed by and between the parties as follows:
1. Term of Contract. The Contract Agreement dated December 16, 1996 by and between
the parties hereto above mentioned is extended for an additional term of One (1) year
commencing on January 1, 1997 and terminating December 31, 1997.
II. Pricing. The terms and prices to be paid by the Owner to the Contractor shall be as listed on
the 1997 HHW Pricing for Salina, Kansas, as Exhibit A.
III. Other T erms. All other terms of the Contract Agreement not in conflict with the terms of this
Extension of Current Contract Agreement are ratified and affirmed as if fully set fourth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Owner and the Contractor have executed this Extension of Current
Contract Agreement the day and year first above written.
