1. April 27 through May 4, 1980 - "KANSAS MEDICAL ASSISTANTS SOCIETY
WEEK". The proclamation will be read by Marge Hansen, President
of the Saline County Medical Assistants Society.
2. April 20 through April 26, 1980 - "NATIONAL Y W C A Week". The
proclamation will be read by Barbara Knight, President of the YWCA
Board of Directors.
3. April 20 through April 26,1980 - I'NATlONAL VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK",
The proclamation will be read by Cindy Entriken, Director of the
Domestic Violence Center.
4. April 20 through 26 - 'INATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK". The proclamation
will be read by Victoria Zaye, Volunteer Coordinator of S. R. S.
5. April 21 through 26, 1980 - 'IHANDICAPPED AWARENESS WEEK". The proclamation
will be read by Richard Gutierrez, spokesman for concerned citizens
for the handicapped.

1. Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting April 14, 1980.
2. Resolution Number 80-3484 - accepting and adopting the 1978 Regional
Land Resource Analysis and the Regional Housing Plan 1975-1980 prepared
and adopted by the North Central Regional Planning Commission.

1. Second Reading Ordinance Number 80-8784 - providing for the amendment
of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 36 of the Sal ina
Code, and the Zoning District Map therein and thereby adopted and
providing for the rezoning of certain property within the City and
prescribing the proper uses thereof. [Zoning Appl ication 80-5, fi led
by St. John's Hospital, for the rezoning of Lot 9, Block 12, Riverside
Park Addition.]
2. Second Read i ng Ord i nance Number 80-8786 - author'i zing the issuance of
$400,000 principal amount of Yellow Van Movers, Inc., Industrial
Revenue Bonds.

3. First Reading Ordinance Number 80-8787 - Ordering the condemnation and
appropriation of certain land in Saline County, Kansas, for construction
of improvements to East Crawford Street, all as authorized by K.S.A.
12-1023, and amendments thereto, and pursuant to the Eminent Domain
Procedure Act, K.S.A. Chapter 26, and amendments thereto, as the same
relates to condemnation by cities and further pursuant to Resolution
Number 80-3483 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
4. First Reading Ordinance Number 80-8788 - authorizing the investment of
idle funds of the City and specifying the types of investments;
amending Section 2-187 of the Sal ina Code and repealing the existing
section.
5. First Reading Ordinance Number 80-8789 - providing the procedure for
the investment of idle funds of the City of Salina, Kansas; amending
Section 2-188 of the Salina Code and repealing the existing section.
