Application #UR80-1, filed by Wilfam, Inc., requesting approval of
the development plan of the northwest corner of the Francis and York
Street intersection. (Approximately 913 York or 611 Francis)
Wilfam, Inc. had a site plan approved for this property on June 2, 1975. The
site plan provided for the construction of a warehouse facility. Subsequently
Wilfam purchased the property to the west and constructed the warehouse facility
on that site instead. The completion date for construction on this property
expired on March 11, 1977. After notification of this fact by the City, the
applicant requested that the attached site plan be approved to allow for
building material storage.
At their February 19, 1980 meeting the Salina City Planning Commission approved
the attached revised development plan and recommended that the City Commission
approve it also. The approval was subject to additional screening being pro-
vided along Francis Street as needed and as provided in the note on the plan.
