WEEREAS
the 7-UP MARY1'10UNT COLLEGE 3RD ANNUAL 24 HOUR SlJPERDArTCE FOR
MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY, is a dynamic local appeal for public support
of the Muscular Dystrophy Association in its fight against relent-
lessly crippling neuromuscular diseases; and
WHEREAS
the health of this nation, so vital to its welfare, tis security
and its future, is endangered by any such diseases;
WHEREAS
the youthful victims of muscular dystrophy derive great comfort
and hope form ~1DArs programs of patient services and scientific
research; and
WHEREAS
funds raised by the SUPERDANCE, held from February 15 through
February 16, 1980, will help support MDA's worldwide research
program which enables hundreds of scientists the world over to
work toward the final defeat of neuromuscular disease.
