The final breakdown has been filed by the City Engineer for Engineering Project
78-628, for the acquisition of property for the purpose of establishing a public
street from Ohio Street to Kenwood Park Drive and providing for the curbing,
guttering, paving and grading and sanitary sewer improvements for The Midway.
The City Clerk should be instructed to publish a notice of the public hearing to
be held November 19, 1979, and to mail a notice of the public hearing to each
property owner in the benefit district.
At the conclusion of the public hearing, an assessment ordinance will be introduced
for first reading and passed on November 26, 1979.
Total cost of the project is $164,563.62, and is chargeable to the property.

FOR STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
(Engineering Project 78-628)
TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
The Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas, will meet in
the City Commission Meeting Room, Room 200, City-County Building, 300 West Ash
Street, Salina, Kansas, on Monday, the 19th day of November, 1979, at four
olclock P.M., to consider the proposed assessments for the following improvements,
to-wit:
To acquire certain real estate for the purpose of establishing a
publ i c street to be known as liThe Mi dwayll, whi ch wi 11 connect Ohi 0
Street with Kenwood Park Drive.
Curbing, guttering, paving and grading of The Midway,
Lateral Sanitary Sewer Number 589.
as authorized by Resolution Number 3385, passed by the Board of Commissioners
of the City of Salina, Kansas on the 7th day of August, 1978.
The total cost of such improvement to property owners is $164,563.62.
The extent or boundaries of the proposed improvement district to be
assessed is:

located within the confines of Kenwood Park.
Written or oral objections will be considered at the meeting and

known as "The Midway", which will connect Ohio Street with Kenwood Park Drive,
the installation of street and sanitary sewer improvements, authorized by
Resolution Number 3385, passed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas, on the 7th day of August, 1978, is $
