This ordinance authorized the Board of Commissioners to designate, by resolution, parking zones for the use of handicapped persons. Resolution #3461, if approved by the Commission, will designate the 100 Block of North Santa Fe Avenue and the 100 and 200 Blocks of South Santa Fe Avenue as a parking zone for the physically handicapped. Upon passage of Resolution #3461, the City Manager will designate the exact location of handicapped parking spaces within the zone and will direct these spaces be clearly marked for handicapped persons. BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Secti on 1- That in accordance with the provisions of Section 22-159 -, of the Salina Code, handicapped parking zones are hereby established in the 100 ..) Block of North Santa Fe Avenue and in the 100 and 200 Blocks of South Santa Fe Avenue. Section 2. That the designation of parking spaces in these handicapped parking zones shall be effective upon the installation of appropriate signs designating the handicapped parking spaces.
