WHEREAS, during the period from May 1, 1964 to June 16, 2006 JAMES L. HILL
served as Laborer, Machine Operator, Equipment Operator II, Foreman I, and Labor Foreman III for the
m Street Division and Sanitation Superintendent for the Sanitation Division of the Public Works
N Department of the City of Salina; and

WHEREAS, JAMES L. HILL has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated service to the
City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of the City of Salina are
worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to JAMES L. HILL,
for his dedicated and faithful service as Laborer, Machine Operator, Equipment Operator II, Foreman I,
and Labor Foreman III for the Street Division and Sanitation Superintendent for the Sanitation Division
of the Public Works Department of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this resolution delivered to
JAMES L. HILL.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 12th day of June
