Dear Commissioners:
At their regular meeting held on Monday, April 9, 1979, the Neigh-
borhood Centers Advisory Board unanimously voted to recommend to the
City Co~missioners that the name of Centennial Center be changed to
Friendship Center.
The Board would also like to remind the City Commissioners of the
Open House planned for the new neighborhood center at 746 Commanche.
The date of the Open House is April 22, 1979, from 3~00 to 5:00 p.m.

and the Acting City ~lanager to a lIGet Acquainted" meeting on Tuesday, April
24, 1979, at 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Hall.
The Neighborhood Centers Advisory Board w9uld like to escort you on a tour
of the three buildinas and then return to Memorial Hall for coffee and a
short meeting to discuss the usage of the three centers and their direction
and future. The tour and the meeting should be over by 6:00 p.m.
