Dear Sirs:
I am writing to request a quotation from you for the lease of city-owned agricultural property located adjacent to
North Marymount Road and south of Old U.S. Highway 40. Please find attached an aerial photograph showing
this property.
Over the previous few months, I have received inquiries from each of you regarding one or both of these tracts
of land. In the interest of fairness, I determined that it would be more appropriate to have you submit written
quotations for the lease of the property under the following conditions:
. + Quotations may be received for either one or both tracts.
+ The term of the lease will begin on March 1, 2006 and end on November 1, 2006.
+ Half payment due on March 1, 2006 and second half payment due on October 1, 2006.
+ Leasee shall conduct conventional farming operations on the property, the crop to be
determined by leasee.
+ Leasee shall maintain the property in good condition during the term of the lease.
If you are interested in this property lease, please complete the attached quotation and return it in the self-
addressed stamped envelope by Monday, February 27, 2006.
