Storm Sewer Roach Ave ""'~'. , ...' ~~~r We, the undersigned property owners, and tax payers of paline county, living or owning property east and southeast of the city of Salina, part of whom met in person with the county commissioners at 10 o'clock April 1st, 1949, do hereby further petition that our honorable county COITIE1ÌSS- ioners present the duplicate of this petition to the Honorable Body of City Coffiilissioners of Salina, Kansas. Both commissi6ns jointly are requested to take the necessary steps which after a careful survey by the city and county engineers, is deemed advisable to bring to a proper grade and drainage Roach Avenue, from the/corner of Cloud and Roach, north to McAdams St. then west to Front St. and north to Crawford St. ""-' ' \1e urgently request that the 'city of Salina provide ample storm sewarage caDacity to take care of the water which originates east of Roach Ave." ¡-lhich due to the normal water shed has always drained into the slew three or four blocks west of Roach Avenue. Unless such a provision is made to take care of this water, undue damage will be caused to crops and farm land adjoining Roach Avenue on the east. After proper grading and drainage is provided, this road should then be surfaced with such a material to assure all weather traveling.
