RESOLUTION NUMBER 03-6006
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2003 ANNUAL BUDGET.
WHEREAS, a Proposed Annual Budget for the fiscal year commencing January 1,2003
has been prepared by the City Manager, and
WHEREAS, said Amended Annual Budget has been prepared and presented to the City
Commission in accordance with the Salina Code and State Laws, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has examined, studied and reviewed said Amended
Annual budget, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held and conducted so as to give interested citizens a
reasonable opportunity to be heard, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, has after due consideration and deliberation, made
such amendments and adjustments in the Amended Annual Budget as they consider necessary, desirable
and expedient, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body ofthe City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the Amended Annual Budget, which is hereby incorporated by reference,
is approved,
Section 2. That the Budget Appropriations, which are incorporated in the Amended
Annual Budget, are approved.
Section 3. That the City Manager is authorized to record all interfund transfers as
contained in said Amended Annual Budget.
Section 4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to implement and to
administer, within the budgetary funding limits and within adopted City policy and relevant State and
City Laws and regulations, said Amended Annual Budget.
Section 5. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect ftom and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this lOth day of
November, 2003.
