E-2 United Way Campaign Months
PROCLAMATION
Whereas, The United Way of Salina and its fifteen participating
agencies are a vital part of the Salina community, and
Whereas, these United Way agencies provide programs and services
that benefit every segment of our population and that are essential
to maintaining the quality of life in our community, and
Whereas, United Way agencies depend on the support of area businesses
and the people who earn their livelihood in and around Salina;
Now therefore, in recognition of the importance of the 1978 United
Way Campaign to the continued growth and well-being of greater
Salina, I hereby designate September and October as United Way
Campaign months. I urge all Sa1inans to share in making this year's
fund drive a success.
