RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4186
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE WOLF ORGANIZATION, INC. FOR CONSULTING
SERVICES IN RELATION TO THE COMMUNITY CULTURAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Salina Arts and Humanities Commission has been
awarded a matching grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for the
development of a Community Cultural Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Community Cultural Steering Committee appointed by
the Arts and Humanities Commission, after considering proposals by a number of
cultural planners, have recommended that The Wolf Organization, Inc., be
engaged to work with Salina in its Community Cultural Planning, SO NOW,
THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1 . That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
between the City with The Wolf Organization, Inc., to furnish consulting
services in connection with the development of a Community Cultural Plan for
Salina, for a total fee of $40,000 to be paid from the following sources in the
amounts indicated.
a. National Endowment for the Arts
grant proceeds $22,000
b. City of Salina 15,000
C. Private donations 3,000
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon
its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
7th day of May, 1990.
