side of Faith Drive at 1113 Faith Drive.

DRIVEWAYS AND RECESSED PARKING AREAS.
SECTION 32-116 Definitions.
For the purpose of this article, the following
definitions shall apply to these words:
SECTION 32-116(9) Recessed parking area: An
area, construction or facility between the
roadway of a public street and private property
that is not intended for use as a driveway or a
driveway approach and is to be used to provide
angle parking for vehicles as provided by the
traffic ordinance of the city.

SECTION 32-130 Where recessed parking area
prohibited. No permit shall be issued for a
recessed parking area:
SECTION 32-130(4) Which shall abut any street,
the improved portion of which is less than forty
(40) feet in width, measured between curb facings
without the approval of at least four-fifths (4/5)
vote of the board of commissioners; and
Faith Drive is only thirty-two (321) feet in width and the parking
between the curb and the property line is only thirteen and five. tenths
(13.51) feet in width. Both are inadequate to meet the requirements of
the code.
Faith Drive and McAdams Road are the only two streets with ingress
and egress to Faith Addition. Due to the geographical location, Faith
Drive carries most of the traffic.
Parallel parking is now permitted on both sides of Faith Drive.
It becomes a hazardous condition for vehicles to back out of driveways
and recessed parking areas into a narrow traffic lane.
