Public 1 & 2: These two resolutions with a substantial amount of
supporting material was presented to me at 4:30 p.m. today. As
Keith explained to me the 1st resolution phases out our present
contract under Section 23, eliminating the 187 dwelling units
where-to-fore allocated to the Salina Housing Authority. The
second resolution is a new Contributions Contract calling for 100
dwelling units under the Section 8, Housing Assistance Program.
We have no idea of why Salina has been reduced from 187 to 100
units. We are sending only a couple pages of the material showing
the pertinent number referred to.
