The City of Salina and the Franchise Area will be represented in the
Miss Kansas Pageant b y the Miss Salina-Saline Valley Scholarship Pageant
winner, and
}tiss Salina-Saline Valley will also represent Salina and the surrounding
area as a good ,-In1 ambassador at civic functions throughout the State
of Kansas, and
The citizens and business community of the City of Salina have given
upmost recognition and support to the success of the }tiss Salina-
Saline Valley Scholarship Pageant, and
The Salina Jaycees, Jaycee Jaynes, and Eta Omicron chapter of Beta Sigma
Phi sorority have established April 28 as the date for holding this
years Miss Salimi-Saline Valley Scholarship Pageant,
NOH, THEREFORE, I, Jack \'¡eisgerber, Hayor of the City of Salina, do hereby proclaim
