We, the undersigned, being owners of record of property liable for assessment for
the following proposed improvement:
1. Pavement of South Street from the point where said street intersects
with Broadwa' Ave. west to the point where said street intersects with Armory Roan.
2. Pavement of excel and decel lanes at point of ingress and egress of ormer
Avalon Drive and Broadway Blvd.
3. Storm sewers for Block B - Park West Addit10n.
4. 12" water main for service to Block B - Park West Add1t10n.
5. Sanitary sewer for Block B - Park West Addition.
6. Pavement of Armory Road from the intersection of South Street and Armory Road
to thp Sonthwp!';t r.orner of Rlor.k R.
hereby propose that such improvement be made in the manner provided by Article
6a, Chapter 12, of the Kansas Statutes Annotated, as amended.

The estimated or probable cost of such improvement is Three hundred thirty-seven
thousand three hundred thirty-one and 50/100
($ 337,331.50 )
(C)
The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed is as indicated
on the attached plat and is described as follows: Block IIAII. Block IIBII. Part of
Lot 5 and all of Lots 6 throuÇlh 11. Block 11011. Part of Lot 4 and all of Lots 5
throuqh 9 of Block IIC". all in Park West Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas.
The south 242.25 feet of Tract No. 3 and all of Tract No.4 of Surveyor's Plat
No. 51 to the Cit of Salina Kansas and a tract of land east of Tracts 2 and 3,

The proposed method of assessment is:

The proposed apportionment of costs between the imp~ovement district and the
city-at-Iarge is ninety-seven percent ( 97 %) to be assessed
against the improvement district and three percent
( 3 %) to be paid by the city-at-large.
We further propose that such improvement be made without notice and hearing as
required by K.S.A. 12-6aO4(1) as amended.
No name may be withdrawn from this petition after
the Governing Body commences consideration of the petition
or later than seven (7) days after this petition has been
