PETITION 10 VACATE STREET
10 111& HONORABLE ~RD OF CCMlISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SALINA. SALINE
COUNTY. lCANSAS:
Comes now Salina Sheet Metal Heating and Air Conditioning and
~Jleges and states that it is the owner of Lots Three (3). Four (4). Five
(5). Eight (8), Nine (9) and Ten (10) in Block Eleven (11) of Chicago
Addition to the City of Salina. Saline County, Kansas. Petitioner further
states that ÜDœediately north of the said property is an unused portion
of Grand Boulevard Which has never been opened for public use in any ~.y.
Petitioner further states that the land immediately north of the said
portion of Grand Boulevard is owned by the City of Salina. Kansas, and
by the State Highway Commission of the State of Kansas and is dedicated
and used as a public street and highway.
Petitioner further states that the said portion of Grand Boule-
vard can never be logically used as a public street because of its lümited
size and location.
WHEREFORE, petitioner asks that the Honorable Board of Commissioners
vacate the portion of Grand Boulevard ÜDœediately north of Block Eleven (11)
of Chicago Addition and south of what was originally Block Six (6) of
Chicago Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, all of Which
is west of Chicago Avenue in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
