PETITION FOR VACATION OF UTILITY EASEMENT
The undersigned owners of Hocking Addition to the City of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, respectfully request the vacation of that certain
existing 20 foot Utility Easement astradle the lot line between Lots One
(1) and Two (2) of Block One (1) of said Addition, from a point ten feet
(10') South of the North line of said Lots; thence South to the North
line of the Frontage Road adjacent to said Lots.
Petitioners are in the process of leasing the East 100 Feet of Lot
Two (2) and all of Lot One (1) in said Addition for the construction and
operation thereon of a restaurant-motel facility. Under existing cir-
cumstances it is economically advisable for the structure to be so
located so that buildings will be situated on the said easement.
Petitionèrs state that a utility easement exists in the Western extremity
of the Addition which is adequate to service any land to be developed
West or South of Hocking Addition. A copy of the platted area is annexed.
