presently have no use being mfde of them. whatsoever.

This area is zoned "D", two-family dwelling.

746 Nor~h Santa Fe and 748 North Santa Fe in
salina, Kansas; the legal descriptions are as
follows:
Lots 1-3-5, Block 16, pacific Addition in
the City of Salina, Kansas.
(These lots have buildings of brick and frame construction.

The application by Mr. Gorrell is asking for a re-
zoning of the ~reas in questiòn from present zoning status to
Zone F.
All six lots in question are fifty (50) feet wide with
a one hundred seventeen (117) feet depth.

(16) foot wide alley between the three lots on Santa Fe and the
three lots on Fifth street.
T~e total areas would be one hundred
fifty (150) feet wide from either Santa Fe fröntage or Fifth

The new parts will, of course,
be brought in through a regulal- distribt:tor. The used parts

will be taken from older cars. The parts arc to be dis-assembled
in the lot area facing Fifth street.
This is not to be a junk or salvage yard and is not in
apy way to beco~~ a storage area.
The essence is to keep the
cars moving.
The rezoning of this area is desired because of its
accessibility to the retail shop area.
TQ~ three lots on Fifth
street are just across the alley from the back door' of the
building on Santa Fe.
There will be no great addition to the
flow of traffic either for driving in or away of the cars.
Nor will customer traffic adversly effect the now present
traffic situation.
Adequate off-street parking is all-eady
present.
The lots on Fifth Street will be surrounded with an
eight (8) foot high fence which will be protective to the owners
and decorative for the area.
No other property adjdcent to or near the area will
be effected in an adverse manner and in reali'ty, it \.¡i11 be an
