the following proposed improvement: Request curbing, guttering, paving'and
grading of York Avenue from Chester Avenue to Francis Avenue; and Francis
Avenue from the existinq pavement south to the north right-of-way line of
the Missouri Pacific Rai1road.
hereby propose that su.ch improvement be made in the manner provided by Article
6a, Chapter 12, of the. Kansas Statutes Annotated, as amended.

The estimated or probable cost of such improvement is Forty"nine thousand
five hundred forty~nine and 50/100

The extent of the proposed improvement district to be assessed is as indicated
on the attached plat and is described as follows: The east one hundred fifteen
feet (115') of Lot Five (5), Block Thirteen (13); the east-half of Lot Four (4).
Block Fourteen (]4); the south-halfof lot One (1), Rlor:k Sixtppn (16), Northpast
Industrial Park Addition and the west-half of lots Eight (8) and Ninp (9); wpst-
ha lf of the south s i xtv-three feet (63') of Lot Ten (10) and a 11 of Lots Ni netpen
(19), Twenty (20). Twenty-five (25) and Twentv-six (26). East Garden Addition to
the City of Salina, Kansas.

The proposed method of assessment is:

The proposed apportionment of costs between the improvement district and the
city-at-large is Eighty~five percent ( 85 %) to be assessed
against the improvement district and Fifteen percent
(15 %) to be paid by the city-at-large.
(F)
We further propose that such improvement be made without notice and .hearing as
required by K.S.A. 12-6a04(1) as amended.
No name may be withdrawn from this petition after
the Governing Body commences consideration of the petition
or later than seven (7) days after this petition has been
filed with the City Clerk. (K.S.A, 12-6a04)
