ran~e should be constructed for Center-Fire Rifles and
Handguns. and for Ri~-Fire Hand~uns and Rifles. It ~ould
also possibly include an area for skeet or trap shootin«.
This range 10 to conform to NRA Safety Standards end have a
minimum of a 100 yard shootin¡ line. If poesible it should
be built to include a 300 yard firin« line so that
Competition Hatches could be held there. This facility
should be available 7 days a week from sun up to sun down.
unless it is bein. used for a City approved Hatoh. It built
properly it could impact Salina Tourism by brinein. out of
town competitors to Saline to shoot at both center-tire and
rim-fire matches. The cost of buildin« and oparetin« this
faoiliçy could be offset at least partially by user fees and
Federal and State fundin«.
