This is in form of! a request that First Securities Company of Kansas, Inc.,
Wichita, Kansas an~ Stern Brothers and Company, Kansas City, Missouri be
allowed to be placþd on the agenda for your regular meeting of Monday,
April 3,1978 at 41:00 P.M. Mro Gerald Kintzle, Vice President of Stern
Brothers and Company and myself will be in attendance and would like to be
afforded the oppor~unity to make a presentation on refunding of the City
of Salina Water ana Sewage System Revenue Bonds presently outstanding.
I would like to po~nt out that First Securities Company of Kansas, Inc. has
been the financial. adviser for the City of Salina, Kansas on the Series of
1961 Water and Sew~ge System Revenue Bond Issue and also for the Series of
1977 Water and sew~ge System Revenue Bond Issue. Stern Brothers and Company
has been the accouþt manager for the successful underwriting of the two
issues and also FiFst Securities Company of Kansas, Inc. has been a member
of the selling gro~p of both issues. The firms also underwrote the $2,090,000
City of Salina, Kansas Hospital Refunding and Improvement Revenue Bonds for
the Asbury Hospita~ Association in 1977. In addition, First Securities
Company and Stern ßrothers have been involved in underwriting a number of
refunding revenue þond issues for cities in the State of Kansas within the
past year.

presentation at yo~r regular meeting in order for you to explore the possibility
