RESOLUTION NUMBER 90-4223
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
VACATION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY WITH RETENTION OF PEDESTRIAN AND
UTILITY EASEMENTS ON A PORTION OF FREDRICH DRIVE IN MEYER
ADDITION.
WHEREAS, the proposed replat of portions of Blocks 5 and 6 of Meyer
Addition results in a small part of the right-of-way for Fredrich Drive which is
no longer needed, SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as required by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that a request has been filed for
such vacation of street right-of-way on the east side of Fredrich Drive in Meyer
Addition more particularly described as follows:
A part of Fredrich Drive located south of a portion of Lot 14, Block 5,
and north of a portion of Lot 23, Block 6, all in Meyer Addition to the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot 14, said point beong on
the North line of Fredrich Drive;
Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot 14 a distance of
thirty feet (30.001) to the centerline of Fredrich Drive;
Thence East along the centerline a distance of one and eighty-five
hundredths feet (1 .85') ;
Thence South along the projected East line of said Lot 23 a distance of
thirty feet (30.00');
Thence West along the South line of Fredrich Drive a distance of
thirty-one and eighty-five hundredths feet (31.85') to a non -tangent
curve;
Thence Northerly along a curve to the left with a radius of fifty feet
(50.00'), an arc distance of sixty-four and thirty-five hundredths feet
to a non -tangent line;
Thence East along the North line of Fredrich Drive a distance of thirty
feet (30.00') to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 1,446.75 square feet or
0.03 acres, more or less.
and stating that the request will be presented to the Governing Body of the City
for a hearing on September 10, 1990, and that at such time and place all persons
interested can appear and be heard under the petition.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
13th day of August, 1990.
