A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES FOR ALL
MONEYS OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AND DIRECTING THE CITY
TREASURER TO DEPOSIT ALL MONEYS RECEIVED BY HIM THEREIN AND
REPEALING RESOLUTION NUMBER 91-4257.
WHEREAS, Robert K. Biles is the duly appointed, qualified and acting
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas, and as such is authorized to receive
public moneys; and
WHEREAS, the said Robert K. Biles, as Treasurer, does collect public
moneys and it is necessary that the Governing Body designate the official
depository for such moneys; and
WHEREAS, Bank IV Salina, Bennington State Bank, First Bank and
Trust Company, First National Bank and Trust Company, National Bank of
America, and Security Savings and Loan Association, all of which are authorized
depositories for municipal funds located within the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas, are suitable places in which to deposit the moneys received by the said
Robert K. Biles; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That all public moneys received by Robert K. Biles as
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas, be deposited in Bank IV Salina,
Bennington State Bank, First Bank and Trust Company, First National Bank and
Trust Company, National Bank of America, and Security Savings and Loan
Association, all of which are authorized depositories for municipal funds, located
in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and that the said moneys be
deposited therein in the name of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That Resolution Number 91-4257 is hereby repealed.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
28th day of January, 1991.
