CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENT

THIS INDENTURE, made this ',- day
between Emma G. Slmmons, a widow, ot the
of Salina, Kansas, of the second part.
of September, 1960, by and
first part, and the City
\~EREAS, party of the second part desires to obtain an easement
over, upon and through certain land owned by first party as herein-
after described.
WHEREAS, the party of the first part is the owner in fee simple
of said land am is wi lling to grant said second Darty said easement,
and
SO NOW, THEREFORE, Witnesseth:
That the Darty of the first part in consideration of the sum of
$1.00, and other good and valuable consideration, receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents, grant, bargain, sell
and convey unto second party an easement in, over and across a
certain portion of land owned by first party, ¡bOre particularly
described as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter (Swt) of Section
Twenty Five (25), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range
Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline
County, Kansas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point Six Hundred Fifty Seven and
two-tenths (657.2) feet east of and Twenty Four and seventy-
five hundredths (24.75) feet North of the Southwest corner
of said Section Twenty-five (25); thence North Sixty and
twenty-five hundredths (60.25) feet; thence East parallel
with South line of said Section Eight Hundred Seventy Five
(875) feet; thence South Sixty and twenty-five hundredths
(60.25) feet; thence West to point of beginning and con-
taining 1.22 acres more or less.

That Dart of the Southwest Quarter (SWi) of Section
Twenty Five (25), Township Fourteen (lð) South, Range
Three (3) Wpst of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline
County, Kanšas, described as follows:
Beginning at a point Eighty Seven and two-tenths
(87.2) feet East of and Twenty Four and seventy-five
hundredths (24.75) feet North of the Southwest corner of
said Section Twenty Five (25); thence North Sixty and
twenty-five hundredths (60.25) feet; thence East parallel
to Section line Five Hundred Seventy (570) feet; thence
South Sixty and twenty-five hundredths (60.25) feet; thence
West to point of beginning and contains 0.79 acres more or
less.
for all the rights of ingress and egress of second party, its servants,
offiçers, employees and contractors for the purpose of constructing,
installing, repairing, replacing and maintaining Salina Flood Protec-
tion Ditch No. 1 and any other appurtenances thereto in perpetuity.
