Ronald and Maurine Barta, requesting rezoning of
part of Lots 7 and 8, Mount Barbara Park Addition
and part of Surveyor's Plat No. 34 from "R" (Single-
Family Residential) to "R-l"jP.D.D. (Single-Family
Residential - Planned Development District).
Gentlemen and Mrs. Graves:
On August 16,1977, the Salina City Planning Commission conducted a public hearing
on Application #Z77-13.
At that time, a motion was unanimously approved by those members present to recom-
mend that the Preliminary Development Plan and Application #Z77-13 be approved based
on the following Findings of Fact: '
1.
The Plan can be substantially completed within a 2-year period.
The residential planned development is compatible with the surrounding pro-
perty and is in compliance with the Land Use Plan.

The traffic generated from the 8 residential structures proposed will have
no adverse effect on the public roads or traffic in the area.
Public facilities existing in the area are adequate.
