This indenture made this -, /3 'day of JJ~ý" ,1968 by and
between E. J. KESSLER and VIVIAN KLÊSLER, his wife, ¿f~he first'part, and
the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, a municipal corporation, of the second part,
WITNESSETH: '
That the parties of the first part for a good and valuable considera~
tion, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby a~knowledged, do by the
presents, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the party of the second part,
an easement in, over and across a certain portion of land owned by the first
parties'more particularly described as follows:
(1) Beginning at a point 104.6 feet west of the Southeast Corner of the
Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 2, Township 14
South, Range 3 w~st of the 6th Principal Meridian, in Saline County,
Kansas; which point being on the south line of said Southeast Quarter
(2) thence north and parallel to east section line 480.0 feet more or
less to south right-of-way line of Flood Protection Dyke;
(3) thence east along said right-of-way 20.0 feet;
(4) thence south and parallel to east section line 480.0 feet more or
less to south line of said Southeast Quarter;
(5) thence west 20.0 feet to point of beginning,
for all the rights of ingress and egress of said second party, its servants,
officers, employees and contr'Bctors for the purpose of constructing, install-
ing, regairing, repl~cing and maintaining B sanitary sewer system in perpe-
tuity.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties of the first part have hereunto set
their hands the day and year first above written.
