RESOLUTION NUMBER 92-4515
A RESOLUTION APPROVING MODERNIZATION PROJECT GRANT
AMENDMENT (#10) TO CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT
BETWEEN THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS AND
THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
(HUD) has embarked on a program to test all public housing units for the
presence of lead base paint; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Salina, Kansas
applied for a grant to do the testing, which grant has been approved in the
amount of $30,000; and
WHEREAS, HUD has proposed a contract amendment for the public
housing program for the testing of all 100 houses for the presence of lead base
paint; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the proposed Modernization Project Grant
Amendment (#10) to Consolidated Annual Contributions Contract between the
Housing
Authority of the City
of Salina, Kansas and
HUD for the
purpose of
testing public housing program
homes for the presence of lead base
paint is
approved
for signature by the
Chair of the Housing
Authority of
the City of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That this
resolution shall be
in full force
and effect
from and
after its adoption.

of Commissioners and
signed by the
Mayor this
