WITNESSETH: The Grantor for a good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, and
convey unto the City, a permanent easement in, through,
over, and across a certain portion of land owned by the
Grantor, more particularly described as follows:
The East Five (5) feet of the following
described property: That part of Lot Ten (10),
Block One (1), Phillips East Salina Addition to
the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, and
that part of vacated Stapler Avenue, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Lot
Nine (9), Block One (1), Phillips East Salina
Addition, Forty-six (46) feet East of the
Southwest corner of said Lot Nine (9); thence East
on the South line of said Lot Nine (9), One
Hundred Fifty (150) feet; thence South along the
West line of Ohio Street, Fifty (50) feet; thence
West and parallel with the South line of said Lot
Nine (9), One Hundred Fifty (150) feet; thence
North Fifty (50) feet to the point of beginning,
for all rights of ingress and egress of the City, i t.s
servants, officers, employees, contractors, and franchisees,
for the purposes of installing, repairing, replacing, and
maintaining public utilities and public sidewalk, in
perpetuity.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has signed this
Permanent Easement this 10th day of Oct. , 1988.

PARTIAL REAL ESTATE MORTGAGE RELEASE
The undersigned Mortgagee, pursuant to K.S.A. 58-2306,
acknowledges partial satisfaction of the debt secured by the
following described and recorded real estate mortgage (the
"Mortgage") and the same is hereby released in part as
follows:
1. The name of the Mortgagor is RUTH HAYMOND, a
single woman.
2. The name of the Mortgagee is ASSOCIATES FINANCIAL
SERVICES COMPANY OF KANSAS, INC.
3. The volume and page the Mortgage is recorded in
is: Book 378 of Mortgages, pages 416-417 of the records of
the Register of Deeds for Saline County, Kansas.
4. The Mortgage dated December 6, 1985, was recorded
December 9, 1985.
