offices at Salina, Saline Colli1ty, Kansas, hereinafter referred to as the
"Party of the First Part", and the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, a rmmicipal
corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "Party of the Second Part",

That the Party of the First Part, for a good and valuable con-
sideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged,
does by these presents grant, bargain, sell and convey lli1to the said
Party of the Second Part a permanent easerrent in, over and across a
certain tract of land owned by the Party of the First Part, more
particularly described as follows:
The West Five Feet (W 5') of the North Ten Feet
(N 10') of :EDt One (1) in Block Three (3) of Leavenworth
Addition to the City of Salina, Saline Colli1ty, Kansas.
Containing 50 square feet rrore or less
for all of the rights of ingress and egress of the said Party of the
Second Part, its servants, officers, employees and contractors for the
purpose of construction, installing, repairing, replacing and maintaining
a public street in connection therewith, in perpetuity.
IN WITNESS WHEREDF, the said Charter Investments, Inc. has herelli1to
caused this easement to be signed on its behalf by its proper officers

KNCW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That THE SECURITY SAVINGS AND WAN ASSOCIATION of Salina, Kansas,
the rrortgagee in a certain rrortgage hereinafter described, does hereby
certify that the said rrortgage which is dated the 20th day of May, 1980,
made and executed by CHARl'ER INVESTMENTS, INC., as nvrtgagor, to THE
SECURITY SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, as mortgagee, and recorded in
the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline Colli1ty, Kansas, in furtgage
Book 337 at pages 131-132, is as to so much of the property therein
described, to wit:
The West Five Feet (W 5') of the North Ten Feet
(N 10') of :EDt One (1) in Block Three (3) of Leavenworth
Nidi tion to the City of Salina, Saline Colli1ty, Kansas,
fully paid, satisfied, released and discharged. This release is given
on the express terms and conditions that it shall in no wise effect the
lien of the above mentioned mortgagee on the rema.ining land described
in said rrortgage, but shall only be construed as the release from the
lien of said rrortgage of the land above described.
IN 'IESTIMONY WHEREOF, the said Security Savings and Wan Association
has caused this instrurœnt to be signed by its Vice-President and the seal
