CONVEYN~CE OF EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE) made this ?ii~ day of May) 1964, by and be-
tween DUANE E. PATTERSON and V. 11 E PATTERSON, husband and \.¡ife,
of Salina, Kansas) of the first part) and THE CITY OF SALINA, KAN-
:SAS) Of the second part; and,
WHEREAS) party of the second part desires to obtain an ease-
ment over, upon and through certain land owned by the parties of
:the first part as hereinafter described; and)
i WHEREAS) the parties of the first part are the owners in fee
!simple of said land and are willing to grant said second part said
¡easement; and,
I That the parties of the first part in consideration of the i
¡sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable considerationf,
.receipt of which is hereby acknowledged) do by these presents, I
¡grant) bargain) sell and convey unto second party an easement in, i
'over and across a certain portion of land owned by parties of the II

I . A utility easement 7 feet wide and approximately 80 I
I feet long beginning at a point on the north line of
Prescott Road and 25 feet west of the east line of
I Block 10 in the Replat of Lots 1-15 inclusive) Garden
Home Addition to the City of Salina) Kansas;

vants) officers) employees and contractors for the purpose of con- .
structing) installing) repairing, replacing and maintaining any!
public utilities and any other appurtenances thereto in perpetuity.
SO NOW THEREFORE) WITNESSETH:
thence east 7 feet on the north line of Prescott
Avenue; thence north paralleling said Block line and
15 feet west therefrom to the north end of said Block;
thence west 7 feet on north Block line; thence south
paralleling Block line and 25 feet east therefrom to
north line of Prescott Road to the point of beginning)
