RESOLUTION NUMBER 93-4598
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THREE
AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS AND CAMP DRESSER
& McKEE, INC. TO PERFORM PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES IN
CONNECTION WITH THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE
LANDFILL PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Kansas
Department of Health and Environment have established certain mandates be met
to comply with Subtitle D regarding solid waste landfills; and
WHEREAS, certain professional services are necessary to satisfy and
ensure these mandates are met; and
WHEREAS, the City of Salina desires Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. to
provide these professional services; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas and Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.
to perform professional engineering services in connection with the City of
Salina, Kansas Municipal Solid Waste Landfill permitting project in an amount
not to exceed $54,114.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas and Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.
to perform professional engineering services in connection with the City of
Salina, Kansas Municipal Solid Waste Landfill groundwater monitoring and
hydrogeologic assessment project in an amount not to exceed $21,430.
Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the
agreement between the City of Salina, Kansas and Camp Dresser & McKee Inc.
to perform professional engineering services in connection with the City of
Salina, Kansas Municipal Solid Waste Landfill design, bidding, construction
general services and operations and maintenance manual preparation project in
an amount not to exceed $89,320.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
