04-05-2005 Minutes HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SALINA REGULAR BOARD MEETING Tuesday, April 5, 2005 469 S. 5th St., Salina, Kansas 4:00 P.M. The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chair Carmen Wilson. The following were present: MEMBERS Carmen Wilson Richard Tilgner Susan Miller Troy Vancil Chris Yohe OTHERS Alan Jilka Ann Rollins Lynn Vossman Sheila Hammerschmidt Thad Opat City Commission Liaison Secretary Finance Manager Programs Manager Special Projects Manager Ms. Wilson requested approval of the agenda, Ms. Rollins requested item 3.2 Review of Annual and Five Year Plan be the first item on the agenda. Mr. Tilgner moved approval of the agenda as revised, Mr. Vancil seconded. All were in favor, motion passed. Ms. Rollins reviewed the Annual and Five Year Plans with the board. The goals and measures were discussed, as well as changes made to the Administrative Plan and Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan. Mr. Vancil moved approval of the Annual and Five Year Plans, Mr. Yohe seconded. All were in favor, motion passed. Ms. Rollins reviewed the Articles of Incorporation with the Board. Mr. Tilgner moved to approve the Articles, Mr. Vancil seconded. All were in favor motion passed. Mr. Tilgner made a motion to go into Executive Session for 30 minutes, Ms. Miller seconded the motion. All were in favor, motion passed. The Board entered Executive Session at 4:40 p.m. At 5:10 p.m. the Board came out of Executive Session. No action was taken. There being no other business, Mr. Vancil moved for adjournment of the meeting. Mr. Tilgner seconded the motion, all were in favor and the motion carried. Ms. Wilson adjourned the meeting at 5:10p.m. Next meeting is May 26, 2005, at 4:00 p.m. Our Mission: The Salina Housing Authority is dedicated to providing and advocating affordable, safe living environments and opportunities to become self-sufficient for persons of very low to moderate income.
