CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENT
THIS INDENTURE, made this 15th day of May, 1953, by and between
THE SALINA COUNTRY CLUB DEVELOP~ŒNT COrœANY, a corporation, of the first
part, hereinafter referred to as Company, and the CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS,
of the second part, hereinafter referred to as City.
WITNESSETH, that:
WHEREAS, the city, pursuant to the laws of the State of Kansas,
and ordinance of the city duly adopted, are in need of those certain ease-
ments hereinafter conveyed and granted; and
W}IEREAS, the company is the owner of the fee simple title to the
land from which said easements are carved; and
ì\l1EP..EAS, in consideration of the city causing a sewer to be placed
'within the easement hereinafter granted, the company is willing to give and
donate those certain easements hereinafter described; and
SO, NO~¡, TrŒREFORE, company, for the consideration aforesaid, does
hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the city, its successors and
assigns, an easement in, over and across certain lands owned in fee simple
by said company, as aforesaid, more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The Northeasterly Five (5) feet of Lot ~2 (2r ~nd the
Southwesterly Five (5) feet of Lot ~ cr." :i.,R' block.2r;
the Northerly Five (5) feet of lot Eleven (11) and the
Southerly Five (5) feet of Lot Nine (9r; in Block One (1);
the East Five (5) feet of Lot Two (2), and the West Five
(5) feet of Lot Three (3) in Block Three (3), all in
Country Club Heigh,,-s Addition No.2, an addition to the
City of Salina, Kansas;
for the purpose of installing, repairing, reinstalling, replacing and main-
taining in perpetuity sewers, water lines, electric light lines, gas lines,
telephone lines and all other forms and types of public utilities, whether
now being utilized or hereafter discovered and developed, and that said
easement is hereby declared to be a covenant running with the land.
IN~.rTNESS WP.cLREOF, the company has caused this instrument to be
duly executed by its officers authorized so to do.

me, the undersigned, a Notary Public in and for the County and State aforesaid,
came R. J. Laubengayer, President of The Salina Count~J Club Development
Company, a corporation duly organized, incorporated and existing under and
by virtue of the laws of Kansas, and J. R. Geis, Secretary of said corporation,
who are personally known to me to be such officers, and who are personally
known to me to be the persons who executed, as such officers, the within
instrument of writing on behalf of said corporation, and such persons duly
acknowledged the execution of the same to be the act and deed of said corpora-
tion..
