Vanier, husband and wife, of the first part, and the City of Salina, Kansas, of the second part; and, '\ /.' , \ vlls~., L,UJ,t<' 7r¡ l"etge .53 Co CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENT WHEREAS, party of the second part desires to obtain an easement over, upon and through certain land owned by the first party as here- inafter described; and, WHEREAS, the party of the first part is the owner in fee simple of said land and is willing to grant said second part said easement; and, , SO NOW, THEREFORE, Witnessetht That the party of the first part in consideration of the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable considerations, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents, grant, bargain, sell and convey unto second party an easement in, over and across a certain portion of land owned by first party, more particularly des- cribed as follows: A strip of land Twenty (20) feet in width in the Northeast Quarter (NEi) of Section Seventeen (17), Township Fourteen (14) South, Range Two (2) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Saline County, Kansas, the center line of which is described as follows: Beginning at a point on the South right-of-way of Country Club Road and Two-Hundred Twen'ty-five (22S) feet East of the North-South quarter section line of said Section 17; thence southwesterly to a point Fifty-five (SS) feet South and Two hundred (200) feet East of said North- South quarter line; thence South along a line Two-hundred (200) feet East of said quarter line One-thousand Two-hundred twenty- five (1225) feet; thence southwesterly on a curve of Fifty (SO) feet radius Ninety (90) degrees to a point One-hundred fifty- five (155) feet East of said quarter line; thence West One- hundred fifty-five (lS5) feet to a point on said quarter line and at the Northeast Corner of Lot Two (2), Block Nine (9) of Country Club Heights Addition No.3 which will be terminus of easement. for all the rights of ingress and egress of second part, its servants, officers, employees and contractors for the purpose of constructing, installing, repairing, replacing and maintaining a drainage ditch and any other appurtenances thereto in perpetuity.
