RESOLUTION NUMBER 95-4867
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
CERTIFICATES OF RELEASE FROM ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION LIABILITY
TO CERTAIN PERSONS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Environmental Release Policy
relating to the Salina Public Water Supply Wells Site, applications for
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability have been
submitted by the following persons in relation to the real estate described as
follows:
A. Real Estate - Lot One Hundred Fifty-four (154) on Fifth Street
in the Original Town (now City) of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas.
Applicant - First Bank Kansas
B. Real Estate - The South Forty-one (41) feet of Lot One
Hundred Fifty (150) on Santa Fe Avenue, in the Original Town
(now City) of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, more commonly
known as 222 South Santa Fe.
Applicant - Marie M. Burch
C. Real Estate - Lots Sixty-two (62) , sixty-four (64) , and
Sixty-six (66), less the West Ninety-seven feet (W 9T) of the
North Nineteen and one-half feet (N 19 1/2') of Lot Sixty-four
(64), the West Ninety-six feet Ten inches (W 96'10") of the
South Twenty and one-half feet (S 20 1/2') of Lot Sixty-four
(64), and the West Ninety-six feet Ten inches (W 96'10") of Lot
Sixty-six (66) on Ninth Street, Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan
University, an addition to the City of Salina, Saline County,
Kansas (commonly known as 213-215 West Kirwin, Salina,
Kansas.)
Applicant - Duis Meat Processing, Inc.
WHEREAS, the City staff has completed its administrative,
engineering, and legal review of the applications and has determined that
the applicants listed above qualify for release;
SO, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of
the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the City Manager is authorized to execute
Certificates of Release from Environmental Condition Liability for the persons
listed above in relation to the real estate described.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 8th day of May, 1995.
