A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO'
BERNARD L. WALDSCHMIDT FOR SERVING AS A WATER PLANT OPERATOR
FOR THE WATER AND SEWERAGE DEPARTMENT AND MAINTENANCE WORKER
AND CUSTODIAN I FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT,
NEIGHBORHOOD CENTERS DIVISION OF THE CITY OF SALINA FROM
FEBRUARY 1, 1971 TO JUNE 30, 1995
WHEREAS, during the period from February 1, 1971 to June 30,
1995, BERNARD L. WALDSCHMIDT, served as a Water Plant Operator for the
Water and Sewerage Department and Maintenance Worker and Custodian I for the
Parks and Recreation Department, Neighborhood Centers Division of the City
of Salina; and
WHEREAS, BERNARD L. WALDSCHMIDT has demonstrated invaluable
and dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE 1
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to BERNARD L. WALDSCHMIDT, for his dedicated and faithful service as a
Water Plant Operator for the Water and Sewerage Department and Maintenance
Worker and Custodian I for the Parks and Recreation Department,
Neighborhood Centers Division of the City of Salina, be and the same is
hereby entered upon the official records of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to BERNARD L. WALDSCHMIDT.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 26th day of June, 1995.
