ITEM: Consider Resolution No. 04-6134 authorizing the offering for public sale of General
Obligation Temporary Notes, Series 2004-3 of the City of Salina, Kansas.
BACKGROUND: This is the third series of temporary notes issued this year, and provides for
construction period financing for a number of projects. The total amount of the issue will be
$2,150,000.
Projects included and the amounts anticipated to be issued are:
Cedar Ridge Drive
Cedar Ridge Addition
Waterline. S. Ohio and Schilling
2004 Subdivisions (Includes
Yost and River Meadows)
Bicentennial HVAC
Marymount Road Extension

Total Issue:
$2,150,000.00
This issue is scheduled to mature on August 1, 2005, at which time it will be rolled to long term
bonds.
Resolution Number 04-6134 sets the sale date and time as December 6, 2004 at 1 :00 PM. A
summary of the bids and recommended action will be presented to the City Commission at the
regular meeting on December 6.

Pass Resolution number 04-6134 authorizing the offering for sale of temporary notes.
