RESOLUTION NO. 22-8035
RESOLUTION DECLARING AN INTENTION TO REIMBURSE
CERTAIN CAPITAL EXPENDITURES WITH PROCEEDS OF
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA, KANSAS, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Project Expenditures. The City of Salina, Kansas (the "City") has made or will make
capital expenditures for facility improvements at Bill Burke Park in the City, such improvements including the
construction and/or renovation and modernization of certain restroom and concession buildings, installation of
synthetic turf playing fields and associated safety improvements, lighting improvements, field security
improvements and all other improvements related thereto (collectively, the "Project"), and the City intends to
reimburse itself for such expenditures with the proceeds of a general obligation bond financing (the "Bonds").
Section 2. Reimbursement. The Bonds may be issued to reimburse expenditures made on or
after the date which is 60 days before the date of this Resolution, pursuant to Treasury Regulation § 1.150-2.
The maximum principal amount of the Bonds expected to be issued for the Project is $4,000,000 .
ADOPTED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas, this 25th day of July 2022.
