Award of contract for roofing improvements at thc Smoky Hill Museum, Project No. 97-1025.
BACKGROUND
This project involves the replacement of the Smoky Hill Museum roof with a single ply membrane,
mechanically attached, roofing system. New tapered insulation will be installed and the existing roof
curbs/flashing will be modified to provide enhanced roof drainage.
The work is scheduled to correspond with the construction activities related to thc renovation of the
Museums's mechanical/electrical system. The 1997 C.I.P. budget provided $150,000 for this and
other roofing improvement projects.
Bids were received on Tuesday, June 17, 1997 as follows:
