Resolution Number 04-6117 Authorizing signatories to the Municipal Investment Pool Account with
the Pooled Money I nvestment Board.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Salina has been a long time participant in the Municipal Investment Pool (MIP) operated
by the State Pooled Money Investment Board. We use the pool as an alternative to traditional Bank
CD's or Treasury Notes in our investment program.
The pool is currently updating their programs in order to permit online access to account statements
and balances. The pool is establishing pass-wording in order to access our account information.
As a part of this process we are re-authorizing signatures for the account.
RECOMMENDATION:
Pass Resolution Number 04-6117.
