A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A CHILD CARE SUSTAINABILITY GRANT AW ARD ED
THROUGH THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
DISTRUBUTED BY CHILD CARE AW ARE OF KANSAS.
WHEREAS, The City of Salina is a recipient of the Child Care Sustainability Grant to cover costs
of operations of its licensed school age child care program; and
WHEREAS, The City of Salina wishes to receive the Child Care Sustainability Grant to cover
costs of operations of its licensed school age child care program; and
WHEREAS, The City of Salina works directly with Child Care Aware of Kansas to ensure
compliance with grant funding and administration; SO NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The Governing Body hereby authorizes acceptance of the Child Care Sustainability
Grant awarded through the Kansas Department for Children and Families distributed by Child Care
A ware of Kansas.
Section 2. The grant will provide funding for expenses as outlined by Child Care A ware of Kansas
for services of its licensed school age child care program.
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this 25th day of April , 2022 .
