RESOLUTION NO. 22-8022
A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SALINA,
KANSAS MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS OF FACT AS REQUIRED BY KS.A. 79-
251 WITH RESPECT TO A PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION TO BE GRANTED TO
MCSHARES, INC.
WHEREAS, McShares , Inc. (the "Co mpany ") has applied to the City of Salina, Kansas (the "City")
for a property tax exemption pursuant to the provisions of A11icle 11 , Section I 3 of the Kansas Constitut ion
for add iti ons to a facility located at I 835 E. North Street in the City to be used for one of the exemp t purposes
set fo11h in Article 11 , Section 13 of the Kansas Constitution; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the City has inve s tigated the facts regarding the construction of
an addition to the faci lity and the use to which the Company wi ll put s uch property ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS:
Section 1. The governing body of the City ha s determined and makes a factual finding that the
facility for which the exemption is to be granted wi ll be used exclusively in the Company's business of
manufacturing a11icles of commerce as specified in Article 11 , Section I 3 of the Kansas Constitution.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in ful I force from and after it s adoption by the
Governing Body.
