RESOLUTION NUMBER 97-5097
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
GLEN F. KOCHANOWSKI FOR SERVING AS A POLICE OFFICER, POLICE
SERGEANT, DETECTIVE, POLICE LIEUTENANT, POLICE CAPTAIN AND
ASSISTANT POLICE CHIEF FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
SALINA FROM FEBRUARY 21, 1966 TO DECEMBER 31, 1996.
WHEREAS, during the period from February 21, 1966 to December
31, 1996, GLEN F. KOCHANOWSKI, served as a Police Officer, Police
Sergeant, Detective, Police Lieutenant, Police Captain and Assistant Police
Chief for the Police Department of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, GLEN. F. KOC14ANOWSKI has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to GLEN F. KOCHANOWSKI, for his dedicated and faithful service as a Police
Officer, Police Sergeant, Detective, Police Lieutenant, Police Captain and
Assistant Police Chief for the Police Department of the City of Salina, be and
the same is hereby entered upon the official records of the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this
resolution delivered to GLEN F. KOCHANOWSKI.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor
this 6th day of January, 1997.
